Zelenskyy holds talks with UK, France on security cooperation
Zelenskyy conveyed in a Telegram statement that “There is tangible progress and initial details regarding how a partner security contingent could be deployed.” He expressed appreciation to the UK and France for their leadership and the broader international support they have provided.
He emphasized that these collaborative efforts aim to bolster Ukraine’s security and establish dependable long-standing security guarantees.
“It is precisely this kind of joint work – with everyone focused on a strong result – that helps us bring a durable and lasting peace in Ukraine closer,” he remarked.
The Ukrainian president highlighted the importance of continuing international coordination as Kyiv seeks to strengthen its security arrangements in light of Russia’s ongoing full-scale invasion.
