North Korea Criticizes Trump’s Decision Regarding Arms Export Regulations
On April 9, Trump signed an executive order calling for a review of the regulations governing the export of U.S. military equipment, aiming to simplify the process of selling defense products to foreign countries.
The news agency claimed that, for the United States, arms sales are not just a means of making money to fulfill economic desires, but also a key tool for advancing its "aggressive foreign policy" and pursuing global dominance.
Pyongyang also referenced the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, alleging that the U.S. has been supplying military equipment to its allies since these wars began.
The news agency further stated that U.S. arms exports have surged in recent years, with most of the weapons being delivered to "war maniacs" in Europe and the Middle East.
Based on the agency, the U.S. decision to ease arms export restrictions is essentially a move to escalate global conflicts.
It further accused Washington of exacerbating and prolonging wars under the pretense of promoting dialogue and negotiations, asserting that the real effect of this policy is evident when U.S. weapons are supplied to "proxy" forces engaged in warfare.
