Media reports US determining timeline for Kiev to agree to ceasefire

According to an anonymous senior administration official, both nations will be presented with a final offer. Trump has expressed his desire to end the Ukraine conflict quickly, and since taking office in January, the US has been engaged in active diplomacy with Moscow, holding several rounds of talks.
A source informed the New York Post that the US intends to reach a determination on the ceasefire during discussions in London next week. These talks will focus on where both Moscow and Kiev stand regarding the final peace offer. Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reportedly told US officials that Ukraine is "90%" in agreement with the peace framework being discussed, though concerns remain over territories under Russian control, which Kiev still claims.
Russia has insisted that Ukraine recognize the territorial situation as it currently stands, but Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has firmly rejected this. The US may offer Russia incentives, such as easing sanctions or unfreezing assets held in Western institutions, as part of the ceasefire agreement.
