Erdogan Praises Pakistan's Stance on Palestine
(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkey’s Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised Pakistan’s unwavering position on the Palestinian issue, commending the country for reacting "most strongly" to the violence in Gaza.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Pakistani Premier Shahbaz Sharif in Ankara, Erdogan reiterated his appreciation for Pakistan’s resolute stance.
Erdogan emphasized that Pakistan has consistently supported the Palestinian cause across multiple platforms, including the United Nations.
He affirmed that both Ankara and Islamabad are committed to working together in the future to continue their efforts.
"We will continue to work together toward the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital and with territorial integrity," Erdogan concluded.
