US contemplating a televised real-life program on migrants
In every episode, according to the pitch, which has been viewed by a number of media sources, participants would join in contests that are themed in an American style. For example, searching for gold in California and putting together a car at a factory in Detroit, it would allegedly end with a town hall conference and a definitive vote to pick the prizewinner.
The concept for the show is Rob Worsoff idea, the producer of real-life programs like ‘The Millionaire Matchmaker’, ‘Duck Dynasty’, as well as ‘The Biggest Loser’. The show has the working title ‘The American’.
Worsoff, who moved from Canada to the US reported to a news agency on Friday that no one of the people who lose in the program would be punished or face expulsion, stating that “this is not ‘The Hunger Games’ for immigrants.”
