Syrians search for long waited fairness

(MENAFN) Syrian real estate broker Maher Al Ton anticipate that he can, after a long wait, receive just judgment under the newly established government. After looking for his son and siblings for years after their detention and vanishing by Bashar Assad's military.

The government made a statement last week regarding the establishment of national commission for individuals gone missing as well as additional one for transitional justice.

In addition to this, and the fresh rulers' arrests of claimed people who breached the laws of human rights linked to the rejected leader's government, have made Ton feel optimistic.

Ton's son named Mohammed Nureddin got detained from the Assad's armed forces in the year of 2018 close to Damascus when he was only aged 17 years, as no one heard news from him since his arrest.

He stated, as he used the no longer in use army`s formal title "I hope justice and fairness will prevail, and that they will reclaim our rights from the Syrian Arab Army which unjustly took our sons."
