Russia Vows Continued Attacks on Military Sites
The Defense Ministry in Moscow issued a warning, highlighting this escalation.
In a declaration released on Tuesday, the ministry acknowledged that although Russia has successfully launched direct negotiations with Ukraine, “the Kiev regime, supported by certain European countries, has taken a number of provocative steps aimed at disrupting the negotiation process.”
These provocative actions involve an increase in attacks using Western-manufactured drones and missiles aimed at civilian targets inside Russia.
Officials emphasized that in the past week alone, air defense systems have neutralized and intercepted more than 2,300 drones, with the majority operating far beyond frontline zones.
The Ukrainian offensives have also caused casualties among non-combatants, including women and children, according to the ministry’s report.
In retaliation, Russia has carried out precise missile and drone strikes directed “exclusively at Ukraine’s military and defense industrial facilities,” the statement underlined.
The ministry further detailed an extensive list of Ukrainian sites hit, including military bases, storage depots, airfields, radar installations, and factories assembling drones, gunpowder, and explosives.
