Macron Arrives in Indonesia
Accompanied by his wife Brigitte and a French delegation, Macron was greeted by Indonesia’s defense minister upon his arrival in Jakarta.
On Wednesday, Macron is scheduled to hold discussions with his Indonesian counterpart, Prabowo Subianto, as well as meet with local investors.
He will also travel to Yogyakarta in the central Java province to visit a military academy.
Macron’s journey encompasses three Southeast Asian nations: Vietnam, Indonesia, and Singapore. Following his visit to Indonesia, he plans to fly to Singapore on Friday, marking the final stop of his tour.
There, he will participate in meetings and deliver a speech at the Shangri-La Dialogue, an important Asian defense summit.
The French president commenced his tour by arriving in Vietnam on Sunday.
