Israel Kills Forty-Five Palestinians Seeking Aid

(MENAFN) At least 45 Palestinians lost their lives on Tuesday after Israeli forces opened fire on civilians assembled for humanitarian relief in southern Gaza, marking yet another deadly incident in the ongoing Israeli assaults.

According to a statement issued by Gaza’s Health Ministry, the attack occurred at the Al-Tahlia roundabout in Khan Younis, where large numbers of residents had gathered in hopes of receiving desperately needed aid. The ministry reported that many of the wounded are in critical condition and have been rushed to the nearby Nasser Medical Complex for treatment.

"The emergency rooms, intensive care units, and operating theaters at Nasser Hospital are severely overcrowded due to the large number of casualties," the ministry stated. It also cautioned that hospital staff are facing a dire shortage of essential medicines and medical equipment, severely hampering their ability to provide urgent care.

This latest incident underscores the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where repeated strikes and aid blockades have left civilians increasingly vulnerable.
