Trump Signals Impending Gaza Ceasefire
(MENAFN) A truce in the Gaza region is likely to be achieved shortly, stated United States President Donald Trump on Friday.
"I think it's close," Trump informed journalists in the Oval Office when questioned about the progress his administration is making toward a Gaza ceasefire.
"I just spoke with some of the people involved ... We think within the next week we're going to get a ceasefire," Trump said.
He also remarked that a "terrible situation" is currently unfolding in Gaza.
