RSF starts mass kill, sexually assault three hundred women

(MENAFN) Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) reportedly killed 300 women and raped at least 25 others within the first two days of entering El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, according to Sudanese Minister of State for Social Welfare Salma Ishaq.

Speaking to Anadolu, Ishaq stated:
"The RSF killed 300 women during the first two days of their entry into El-Fasher." She added that women in the city have been subjected to sexual assault, violence, and torture before being killed.

"All women in the city are exposed to sexual violence and killing. No woman is immune or protected, not even a child," the minister said, noting that at least 25 rape cases have been documented. She also reported that female journalists have been targeted, with these attacks being widely circulated.

"Sexual violence targeted even children in front of their mothers, who were then killed. Everyone has seen these scenes in videos," Ishaq added.

The minister warned that the route from El-Fasher to Tawila has become extremely dangerous, describing it as a “death road”, and noted that women fleeing the city are subjected to humiliation and abuse, including racist slurs.

Ishaq emphasized that many families remaining in El-Fasher continue to face torture, sexual violence, and public humiliation at the hands of RSF forces.
